PodiumPins offer our schools an alternative to the non-biodegradable ribbons that are not only better for the environment, but they are also easier to pin to student’s sports uniforms, hats, blazers and school bags.

With PodiumPins you don’t have the problems of trying to pin ribbons on student’s sports uniforms while worrying about jabbing the student or your fingers. The clip and pin are easy for students to do themselves or with the help of their teacher.

Having been part of school sports days and carnivals for the last 15 years I have witnessed ribbons being awarded at events and being left on the grass as they have fallen off or not been pinned on properly. They are usually made from non-biodegradable plastic or material which are not great for our environment. Schools are all about sustainability and using natural resources and biodiversity to support life on Earth which we try to support as much as possible.

It is important to continue to support sustainability in schools and we do this by using pins that are made from a zinc alloy which is proven to be more sustainable when considering measures such as the environmental impact on our planet. In our production we limit the use of environmental harmful materials and where possible we support the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to make even the smallest difference is important.
